"Quick" Fey Bros Meidjo Review: We waited long to get these in the shop and were definitely NOT disappointed! They're very light and the tech toe is easy to enter/engage. The "step-in" NTN connection is genius and also very reliable. I was blown away with how smooth they ski and I really put them to the test in bumps and varied East Coast conditions. I felt right at home as soon as I began turning and having never skied a tech toe like this, I was stunned at how well they handled the hard pack. This binding is a revolution and I give it my full endorsement. I didn't use the tech heel on my test, but if you want a tele/AT binding all-in-one, this is it, and the heels are also very easy to engage and super light.

The future of Telemark is here and it calls itself....Meidjo. Designed in France to be both light for the tour and active for the descent. The Meidjo uses a "Tech toepiece" for a frictionless climb and locks into the 2nd heel on the NTN boot for the most active descent. New this year is the "tech heel piece" which turns this Tele binding INTO AN AT BINDING! No other binding can do this- Tele AND Alpine all-in-one. To use this feature you must have rear tech fittings which are now only available on the Crispi NTN models.
Separate Cost for the Meidjo AT Tech Heels are $210
Please call to order on the Meidjo to be certain you get what you want and understand compatibility.
Binding available in two sizes:
Size S: for shoe retailer from 22.5 to 26 (mondopoint)
Size L: for shoe retailer from 26.5 to 31 (mondopoint)
Compatible with NTN boot (Rottefella NTN system) with standard insert lowtech
Easy Step In System immediate positioning of the front tip of the boot when the boot and automatic locking of the boot heel push.
Touring : "Free pivot" touring mode. Low Tech binding with the front edge of the shoe and heel free. The spring back box is fixed onto the ski and the spring box doesn't hook the second heel of the boot.
Two heel climb of 35mm (7°) and 55 mm (13°) can be easily manipulated with the pole.
Security System : the release system of the binding can be easily adjusted by using a 3mm allen wrench. The release system is independent from the tension of the boots.
Performance: Meidjo is the compromise between the power of NTN bindings (Rottefella NTN system), progressivity and the amplitude of the best classic standard 75 binding. As there is no gap in the binding you can edge immediately.
Simplicity: All manipulations are done without stooping: using the poles on locks or unlocks the Low Tech system, and bare touch of a pole is enough.
Active and progressive: Instant Power of the shoe with the lifting of the heel. Progressive and continuous tension on the boot.
Adaptable: Supplied with two additional springs to customize the tension.
Anchorage: 6 attachment points in front (low tech plate) with a pitch of 45 mm large.
Weight: 800g per pair (size S), making it the lightest modern telemark binding.
